In Berea / Academics

ACADEMICS

Christian curriculum and school infrastructure built to work together— or independently, wherever your school needs them.

Built to fit the school

Start with what you need.

In Berea Academics is being developed for Christian schools at different stages of growth. For some, that may mean a complete instructional environment. For others, it may mean adding a single course, lesson, or resource to curriculum already in place.

The full platform brings curriculum, teachers, students, assignments, assessments, standards, attendance, and academic progress into one connected environment.

But schools do not have to adopt the entire system to use In Berea. Courses, units, lessons, and instructional resources can stand on their own and be incorporated into an existing curriculum or classroom.

Institutional view

See the school clearly.

Administrators and educators need a coherent view of the learning environment, not information scattered across disconnected systems.

  • Student enrollment
  • Active classes and faculty
  • Assignment activity
  • Attendance and engagement
  • Curriculum coverage
  • Institution-wide reporting

Student management

Know who is learning.

Schools will be able to manage students, enrollment, guardians, attendance, class placement, and academic progress from one structured environment.

Student records are not simply administrative entries. They are tied directly to classes, assignments, learning progress, and the instructional work taking place across the school.

  • Student rosters
  • Grade and class placement
  • Guardian relationships
  • Attendance status
  • Enrollment workflow
  • Individual progress visibility

From curriculum to classroom

Teach from one place.

A course becomes a working instructional environment containing modules, assignments, resources, discussions, announcements, student progress, and teacher controls.

  • Structured course modules
  • Assignments and submissions
  • Teacher announcements
  • Class discussions
  • Gradebook access
  • Course resources

Academic oversight

Measure more than completion.

School leadership should be able to see where students are succeeding, where instruction is falling behind, and whether curriculum objectives are actually being covered.

Academy reporting is intended to connect classroom performance with curriculum progress and applicable academic standards.

  • Completion and engagement trends
  • Assessment mastery
  • Class-level comparison
  • Curriculum alignment
  • Students requiring attention
  • Administrative reporting

Standards without surrender

Academic standards can define the skill. They do not have to define the worldview.

In Berea Academy is being designed to map lessons and curriculum to applicable academic requirements while preserving the authority of Scripture and the Christian framework through which the school understands the world.
